JEWELRY CARE
CARE FOR SILVER JEWELRY AND NATURAL STONES
To ensure your jewelry remains beautiful for a long time, it should be worn and stored carefully. Silver and natural stones are high-quality but delicate materials that can react to moisture, cosmetics, perfume, sweat, and chemicals.
General Care Instructions
Store your jewelry in a dry, dark place — ideally in a jewelry box, a soft pouch, or its original packaging. Avoid direct sunlight, moisture, dust, cleaning agents, and perfume.
To prevent individual pieces from scratching, they should be stored separately. Always remove your jewelry before showering, bathing, sleeping, exercising, swimming, or visiting a beauty salon.
Always apply perfume, creams, oils, and other cosmetic products before putting on your jewelry and wait briefly until they are fully absorbed.
Silver
Silver is a natural precious metal that can oxidize and darken over time. This process is completely normal and not a defect in quality. Discoloration occurs through contact with air, moisture, sweat, cosmetics, or sulfur compounds.
To slow down the tarnishing of silver, store your silver jewelry in a dry, airtight place. A small moisture absorber, such as a silica gel packet, can also help.
Should your jewelry darken, you can carefully clean it with a special silver polishing cloth. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, toothpaste, or rough brushes, as these can damage the surface.
Natural Stones
Natural stones are unique — each stone differs slightly in color, structure, and grain. Small irregularities are a natural part of the material and make each piece of jewelry special.
Many natural stones are sensitive to water, direct sun, heat, perfume, creams, and chemical cleaning agents. Therefore, jewelry with natural stones should not be worn when showering, bathing, swimming, exercising, or sleeping.
Clean natural stones only gently with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth. Do not place jewelry with natural stones in cleaning baths and do not use ultrasonic cleaners.
Important Note
Jewelry is a delicate accessory and should be handled with care. Natural signs of wear can appear over time, especially with frequent wear. However, with proper care, your jewelry will remain beautiful for a long time and retain its special character.
